Valentines Printables for Your Home

Valentine's Day will be here soon and I wanted to share with you a simple way to add a little Valentines flair to your decor.
Last year, I went all out with traditional Valentine decorating (click on the link if you want to see a lot of pink and red and hearts!)...this year I'm craving more neutrals and a paring down of my decor.

All you'll really need for today's project is a printer...and a frame.

Have you ever read this verse found in 1 Corinthians 13, otherwise known as the 'love chapter'? It's full of some amazing nuggets of what love really is...and what it's not.

Sometimes this verse makes me feel like a total failure, because I know I have so far to go in how I love others.

However, when I read it I am inspired and motivated to love like it says. To forget past mistakes and try again.

Last year around Valentines I created a distressed sign out of discarded wood that had a portion of this verse on it...to serve as a reminder.

This verse has special meaning to me because it was part of the vows that Mr Diy and I spoke at our wedding, eons and eons ago.

So I decided to use that verse this year too and turn it into a printable, created in PicMonkey (affiliate link). Once it's printed out, it can be mounted into a frame and hung on a wall like I've done here.

You can leave it up all year, or just bring it out at Valentines. Whenever you choose to display it, I hope it will be a reminder to you too of how we are to love.

I've created two versions of this free Valentines printable, a more traditional one:

and this one, a fun, modern take on that same verse:

The original size was created to fit perfectly on a standard sheet of printing paper. A clipboard makes a simple and easy-to-change-out display!

  1. We are so in sync! You'll see what I mean when you see the card I included with the giveaway item I sent. Also, that cake plate! I had the same one and treasured it for years until a few months ago when I broke it. :( I'm watching some online sites to find a replacement.
