Here's what you'll need to make this easy recipe, which is perfect for holiday gifting!

Ingredients:

Directions:

This candy couldn't be simpler to make. I love using the Candiquik because the tray can go right in the microwave. You can mix all the ingredients right in the disposable tray, and then throw it out! No mess!

Unwrap candy canes and place in a zip seal bag. Use something hard like a hammer or a rolling pin to smash the candy into small pieces.

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave according to the package directions.

Add the chopped candy and 1 tsp peppermint extract and stir to combine.

Lay a sheet of waxed paper onto a cookie sheet. Pour the melted candy onto the waxed paper and spread into an even layer (as thick or thin as you'd like!).

Refrigerate until firm (about 20 minutes), then break into bite-size pieces and fill gift bags. I love using clear cellophane bags. Wrap with a pretty ribbon and you are good to go!

Candy Cane Bark is a sweet, peppermint-y treat that everyone enjoys. I've been making this treat for years, and everyone always loves it!

In fact, I might be one of those people who stocks up on candy canes after the holidays so that we can enjoy this treat all year long!

If you haven't tried my Marbled Almond Bark, it's Mr Diy's favorite! Bittersweet chocolate, white chocolate and toasted almonds are the simple ingredients. It's an impressive treat that is so easy to make!

A bag of either of these treats makes a wonderful hostess gift as well, so feel free to double or even triple the batch!

Happy gifting!
