Day 3 Giveaway (Sweet Tea Fabric from Thistlewood Farm)

You guys, it's been such a fun week celebrating my Blogiversary with you and 4 days of Giveaways! I've already given away a pair of original mugs (designed and made by me) and today I'll be announcing the winner of the craft fair apron and market bag! Before we get to that, let's take a look at today's giveaway sponsored by Thistlewood Farm.

I'm celebrating my Blogiversary with 4 days of giveaways! Enter to win two yards of Sweet Tea Fabrics from Thistlewood Farm at diy beautify!!
First of all, if you have never visited Thistlewood Farm, you need to do so, pronto (wait until you enter my giveaway though, lol)! KariAnne is awesome and incredibly talented! Hers is one of the first blogs I started following regularly before I was a blogger.

KariAnne is not only inspiring, she's funny, energetic, loves red lipstick and big earrings(!)...and she lives in a drop-dead-gorgeous farmhouse that she and her hubs have renovated!

As a newbie blogger 3 years ago, I emailed KariAnne for some blogging advice and she was kind enough to not only reply with some great tips, but she coached me up with her "You're a rock star, you can totally do this" pep talk!

Day 3 Giveaway - Sweet Tea Fabric

I'm delighted to offer you the chance to win 2 yards of fabric from Thistlewood Farm's Sweet Tea Fabrics line. If you love blue and white, you will adore this fabric! It's inspired by back porch sitting and sweet tea, a couple of my favorite things!

This fabric line includes polka dots, stripes, florals, and thistles (naturally)! Click here to see the whole line.

If you know how to sew, you can stitch a pillow or make a simple runner for your table....

But, you absolutely do not need mad sewing skills to still make something beautiful out of fabric!

Here are some ideas for using fabric without sewing a stitch:

  • make a fabric woven basket
  • lay fabric across a dining table with the raw edges tucked under for a cute table runner
  • glue squares of fabric around old ornaments to make them new again
  • cover tennis balls with fabric (and glue) to make colorful spheres - fill a bowl with them!
  • rip fabric into large rectangles (let the ends fray) for pretty napkins
  • hang fabric from curtain clips for the easiest cafe curtain ever!
Good luck!

The winner of the craft apron and market bag is Jennifer Heyboer, congratulations!
