Why are we celebrating?? Because DIY beautify is 5 years old!
5 years guys...just...wow!
I truly know that I am SO blessed to be able to stay home and do what I love...create! Whether it's something I found by the side of the road and am making beautiful, or a thrifty project, or decorating my home to be a warm and welcoming place, it's what I do best! I truly am passionate about creating beauty and I love inspiring you and sharing this journey with you!
Having a beautiful home on a budget is definitely not out of reach, and my home is living proof of that! If you're new to my site, I invite you to browse my projects and see just what I mean!
I wouldn't be anywhere without YOU following along! So this week-full of giveaways is my way to say "THANK YOU"!
I've teemed up with some of my favorite makers to help celebrate all week long!
Today, one of you has the chance to win this adorable miniature pillow hanging from my friend Rosana at Nest of Petals. Rosana is so talented and her hand-stitched, one-of-a-kind pillows are truly unique and beautiful! You really need to see them all to appreciate the beauty of what she does! And if you're a Rae Dunn fan, Rosana stitches up Rae Dunn inspired pillows!
You can choose to display this mini pillow on a shelf, hanging from a wreath, or doorknob...really, you cannot go wrong! I love it here with my hand-painted buffalo check mason jars!
I love that this sentiment reminds us that grace is a choice we can make! I need to be reminded of this on a daily basis! This miniature pillow has sweet blue farmhouse ticking on the back and you can tell it is made with love!
Rosana is such a sweet friend! She has generously offered a 20% discount to my readers from her store for this week! Please use code "DIYBEAUTIFY" when you checkout to activate the discount.

Random Fact about Me:
I've talked about growing up in Canada before, but what you might not know is that I graduated from a small Bible College in Regina, Saskatchewan. That's also where I met Mr DIY (my American-born hubs)! Saskatchewan is farming country. It's flat. And during the winter months, it is COLD...like -40° cold! There's nothing pretty about frozen nose hairs, runny eyes and stat-icky hair! Neither Mr DIY nor I had a car, so our dates usually involved walking around the campus (we didn't have much money those days either!) While it doesn't sound that romantic, it was! It was often snowing, and Mr DIY was always a gentleman. I loved how he protected me while we were walking, hand-in-hand. He always guided me towards the sidewalk side of the street. He held doors open for me. He rubbed my cold hands and feet and let me borrow his large, cozy sweatshirts! Truly, we got to know one another and fell in love walking those cold, dark streets back in the late 80's!
