Halloween Snack Mix

I'll be the first to admit that I'm one of those parents who raids their kids candy stash every year. Yep, coming clean here!

I've got a sweet tooth...and a salty tooth (is that a thing?). It's always a toss up whether I'd prefer something sweet or something salty. The truth of it is, I'd really prefer to have both!

This Halloween snack mix satisfies those cravings for sweet and salty.

It makes a huge bowlful, so there's enough for all the snackers you need to feed (including plenty for you!)

Perfect for munching on anytime...during the game, while watching movies with the family, or for giving.

Ingredients for Snack Mix:

These are the items I included in my snack mix. You can add or subtract, depending on what you like. I was going to include a bag of M&M's candy corn mix, but opted not to as there are already chocolate candies in the Chex Mix.

Putting this together couldn't be easier.

Dump it in a bowl and gently mix it up!

I wasn't sure how the Cheetos Bag of Bones would taste in this mix, but wanted to include them because they are really cute. And I'm happy to report that they do taste deelicious in this snack mix! I found them at Target.

This Halloween snack mix is a little addictive...it's sweet, salty, crunchy, chewy, and just a little bit cheesy. Aren't those the 5 food groups?

I've bagged it into clear cellophane bags, added a Halloween ribbon and the intention is for little DIY to share with her teachers next week. We'll see if it lasts that long!

If you're a sweet and salty snacker, you will find this snack mix fits the bill in a truly tasty way!
