Fall Dessert Inspiration

It was a dark and stormy Halloween night! Initially they were calling for fierce thunderstorms and possible tornados. Due to weather predictions, most of our neighborhood communities decided to postpone trick-or-treating until Friday.

As it turned out, we got some fierce winds but the rain held off, so we still got several kids at our house, and now we get to do it again tomorrow! Little Diy is thrilled for the opportunity to go trick-or-treating twice! I see a cavity or two in her future...

Okay, now on to the purpose of this post, inspired by you... and sugar ;)

Can I just say that I think you are all amazing! Or should I say, "Y'all are amazing" - I am living in the south now after all :)

I am inspired Every Single Day.

Inspired to be a better crafter, a better cook, a better decorator and gardener and so many other things.

I want to build things!! I mean, how scary is that? But my friend Christy from Confessions of a Serial Diyer is wielding her Kreg Jig to build an amazing headboard bench and making it look like the easiest project ever! I want to do that! I think I can do it!

And the amazing KariAnne of Thistlewood Farms never ceases to amaze me with her clever ideas. Have you seen this brilliant wall mirror she created using makeup compacts from the dollar store?

I could go on and name so many of you and your ideas and your brilliance!

Thank you for inspiring me :) Your blogs are wonderful places to visit when I am feeling "lost" for ideas. There is just no end to the possibilities.

Today's post came about because of all the delicious looking fall recipes I was seeing. I wanted to compile some of them into one special place and maybe inspire YOU to bake something new this fall and/or Thanksgiving season.

So grab a cup of coffee, your diet coke or whatever you drink, put your feet up and take a good, long look at these delightful goodies:

Don't they look amazing?? Here are the links to each one starting at the top and going clockwise: Apple Turnovers from Place of My Taste, Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake from LEMON Sugar, Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake from Will Cook For Smiles, Salted Caramel Pumpkin Parfaits from Love Grows Wild, Apple Pie Bars by Sherry Jennings, Pumpkin Oreo Cheesecakes from Inside BruCrew Life, Little Gobblers from The Dallas Socials, and finally Caramel Apples by Lil' Luna.

Are you feeling inspired yet??

I know I sure am. A little bit hungry too :)

I am already planning to make the Little Gobblers with the kids that I do crafts with at church on Wednesday nights. Don't you think they'll love them?! But they would be a perfect craft or dessert for the kids at your Thanksgiving table too!

I could say the same thing about each of these desserts. They look scrumptious and definitely company-worthy!! I hope you'll try one..or two or three! Clicking on the links above will take you right to the recipes and the gals who wrote them. Please remember that Pinning is wonderful, as long as you Pin directly from the original source.

What or who has inspired you lately?
