Hello there and welcome to the LAST DAY of September! Can you even believe it? You know you're getting old(er) when your 15 year old daughter tells you that the years are going by fast!!! Let's not talk about that anymore mkay? 😕 Today I'm sharing some of my favorite DIY projects that cost only $20 or less to make!!!

I've rounded up my faves from the recent At Home DIY September Challenge. Each of the bloggers came up with a $20 max DIY project! You can view them all here.

You might remember my project, which came in well under $20, this super sweet cottage style round side table that Mr DIY and I made using antique barley twist legs that I seriously found on the side of the road one garbage day! There's good stuff being thrown away every day!

Aren't these lanterns cute? No glass, which actually makes them easier to clean...always a bonus in my book!

Schoolhouse Style Wall Hooks by T Moore Home

I love the vintage style of these hooks. I could use one of these in every room of my home, couldn't you? So handy for backpacks, jackets, purses, and they're stylish as well as functional.

Throw Blanket with Chunky Tassels by Savvy Apron

Mind blown by this project! I have never even contemplated making a blanket, if you don't count the time I gave my old college comforter a new life by sandwiching it between a blanket and flannel sheet to make a heavy and warm blanket for my daughter. I love how Sherry added chunky tassels to her DIY blanket and the easy way she DIYed those black stripes!

Painted Wood Sign by The Frugal Homemaker

I've made a lot of DIY signs, but I love the simplicity of this one, made using carbon paper, no fancy Silhouette or Cricut machine required! Sometimes it's good to get back to the basics!
