I got this Cricut Easy Press for Christmas a couple years ago, and it has been such a great tool in my crafter's arsenal for making my own projects. This press has over 6000 5-star reviews on Amazon! It's clear I'm not the only one who loves this small but mighty machine!

I've made a couple Fall t-shirts already this year and can't wait to make more! This is also a good time to be thinking about Christmas gifts! I'm sure you have a few people who would appreciate a handmade t-shirt...or set of tea towels...or napkins or...

You get the idea...there are SO MANY things you can make once you have your own heat press!

Make your own tees for Fall

I love Fall. 🍂❤ It's my very very favorite season! I love pumpkins and pulling out the cozy decor and pumpkin spice and changing leaves and cooler weather and cozy blankets and sweaters! All the Fall things.

Down here in South Texas, we don't get cool weather in the Fall. The temps may cool slightly but it is still very humid and hot. Although I've talked to people who grew up here and they notice a change in the weather, I'm still waiting to feel that change!!

So that's why I made Fall tees with short sleeves! But by all means you can make whatever you'd like! The possibilities are really limitless!

Pumpkin Spice DIY Tee

Raise your hand if you're a pumpkin spice lover and can't wait for PSL season at Starbucks! It always feels like Fall has truly arrived when I am sipping on a pumpkin spice latte!

I created a PUMPKIN SPICE EVERYTHING tee and I'll be giving this one away so keep reading for more details on the Giveaway!

Save money and make your own tees

You will need either a Silhouette or Cricut die cut machine to cut out your designs. I own the Silhouette Cameo and love it! I purchased it as a bundle, which came with a bunch of tools, vinyl, gift card, etc. Yes, it is an investment but I have found it has paid for itself because of the money I've saved by making my own home decor, tees, and more! Even just the money I save by making gifts! And everyone loves receiving a customized gift that was thoughtfully handmade!

Supplies you'll need to make your own custom tees

To make my pumpkin spice design, I created my words in PicMonkey. I then saved the design to my computer and uploaded it into my Silhouette Studio program. This is how it looked. When you save a jpeg design from PicMonkey or Google to the Silhouette Studio software, you're not able to manipulate the pieces. You can just resize it. So make sure you're happy with the design's placement.

I cut the design onto black heat transfer vinyl, which is the material you need for ironing onto fabric! This is a different product than regular vinyl. You also must print words in reverse!

Next I cut out a couple of pumpkins from a design that I purchased from the Silhouette Design Store for .99$ and resized to fit the space on my tee.

Finally, I ironed everything into place with the Easy Press. It's so easy to use, and you don't need to apply pressure like you do with a regular iron.

I actually made some shirts before I got my Easy Press, using just my regular iron to add the design, and after the first wash, they started to peel off!

The Easy Press doesn't use steam, and you can set the temperature for your specific materials you are using. There really is no learning curve, it's easy peasy to use!

Isn't that fun? You can make a bunch of shirts all at once!
