Hey friend! I am a big believer in seasonal crafts being thrifty...they're only on display for a short time after all! Here are my favorite DIY sunflowers that you can make today. Most are made from scrap fabrics, cardboard and other upcycled materials - so we're saving the environment while making our homes cuter - that's a win 🌻🌻
7 Unique DIY Sunflowers to Make
I will include Amazon links to products needed for the following sunflowers
tutorials; however, always shop your home and your craft stash (or recycle
bin!) first to save money!
DIY #1: Drop cloth farmhouse sunflowers
Crafted from old mason jar lid rings, coffee stained canvas drop cloth and
fall homespun fabrics, these sunflowers make a beautiful impact. I've added dowel stems so they
can be displayed in a vase or pitcher as shown. Want to make your own? You'll
find the step by step tutorial, and a video here ->

DIY #2: Sunflower doorknob hanger
Crafted just like the sunflowers featured above, but a curled wire hanger is
gently threaded through the fabric, creating the most charming sunflower to
hang. Door knobs, peg knobs, hang it anywhere you need a little pop of
seasonal cuteness!
THIS is
my go-to wire that is easy to curl but will hold its shape when hung. Also be

of this flower.
DIY #3: Seasonal sunflower and pumpkins faux oil painting
I'll show you how easy it is to turn my free Fall printable into an oil
painting with
one simple product that you probably already have. If you're a subscriber, you'll find
this printable in my printables library (look for the link in every email I
send). Not a subscriber yet? Sign up

DIY #4: Chunky primitive tattered sunflowers
If you love all things primitive and tattered, these sunflowers will make you
smile! Crafted with homespun fabrics, and frayed in the dryer, they are so
cute! Follow this step by step tutorial ->

DIY #5: Chunky turmeric dyed sunflowers
Assembled the same way as the sunflowers above, this version was made by
dyeing drop cloth fabric with turmeric and instant coffee for more of a true
sunflower look.
Black check homespun
centers mimic sunflower seeds. These sunflower petals are frayed but not
tattered like the above project. See more here ->

DIY #6: Mini fabric and wood bead sunflowers
Crafted on a smaller scale, these sunflowers can be used in so many ways. They
can add charm to a Fall decorated table as napkin rings, or simply set on a
plate. The wood bead centers are removable for multiple decorating options.

DIY #7: Recycled cardboard and book page sunflowers
Turn scraps from your recycle bin into the cutest neutral sunflowers! Any book
pages from a thrifted book can be used to make the petals. Their stems are
made from upcycled packing paper! A truly unique project to beautify your fall
home. For the step by step tutorial and a video tutorial, please visit
