Hi friend, I'm so glad you're here! Stuffed felt hearts, covered in pink buttons, couldn't be cuter! These little guys are so easy to make. You can easily add a little piece of jute or ribbon to create a hanger and use them to decorate cabinets, a Valentines Day tree, even create a garland. I'm sure you can think of oodles of ways to decorate with these little DIY hearts!

Pink button stuffed DIY hearts

I appreciate a simple, no-sew craft that takes less than an hour from start to finish! These stuffed hearts are that project.

You'll need just a few simple supplies to make several of these button hearts, most of which can be found at your local craft store or Walmart. I'm sharing Amazon sources below.

Supplies:

optional: lace, ribbon or jute for hanging

How to cut a perfect heart template

To make a heart with both sides even, fold a piece of cardstock in half. Draw a half heart shape along the fold and cut it out.

Cutting out your own heart template is great because you can customize the size to perfectly suit your project.

I'm not sharing all the steps here because you'll find those in my original  hanging button heart post. Please refer to that if you need additional directions but here are the basic steps to making a button heart.
I love the original, made with ivory and mother of pearl buttons, but these little pink button hearts have stolen my heart too ❤

The pinking shears add a flirty little zigzag edge to the felt hearts and while certainly not necessary, is one of those details that makes these sweet pink button hearts even cuter!

  1. Absolutely precious! I've made button hearts before but I like them on fabric AND stuffed better! They're like tiny little heart cushions!
